Tuition & Payment
Everything you need to plan, pay, and manage your eCampus tuition. Specific amounts, deadlines, and program-specific fees are maintained on the official NSCC program pages.
Get started: Planning your finances
A short walk-through covering the basics of budgeting, financial supports, and where to start when you’re planning the cost of your studies.
Where to find your tuition amount
Tuition is set per program and updated annually. For the current amount, payment plan options, and any program-specific fees, refer to:

How to pay
NSCC accepts several payment methods. Choose the one that fits your situation:
- Online banking — add NSCC as a bill payee using your student ID as the account number. Most major Canadian banks support this.
- Credit card — payable through your MyNSCC account. A third-party service fee may apply.
- Payment plan — eligible programs allow tuition to be split into instalments. Apply through MyNSCC.
- Sponsorship or third-party funding — if your tuition is covered by an employer, agency, or sponsor, contact Finance Inquiries to arrange direct billing.
Deadlines
Tuition deadlines vary by program and intake. In general:
- First instalment is due before classes begin.
- Subsequent instalments follow the payment plan schedule.
- Late payments may result in account holds, preventing access to Brightspace and grade release.
For your specific deadlines, log in to MyNSCC or contact eCampus.finance@nscc.ca.
Refunds & withdrawal
Refund eligibility depends on when you withdraw relative to the program start date. Full and partial refunds may be available within the refund window; after the deadline, no refund is issued. Refer to the NSCC refund policy for details.
Financial aid & awards
NSCC and external organizations offer scholarships, bursaries, and loan programs for eligible students. Apply early — many awards have annual deadlines.
Student Loans
Nova Scotia Student Assistance administers federal and provincial student loans for Nova Scotia residents. Loans are needs-assessed and combine repayable and non-repayable funding. Apply online — processing takes several weeks, so start well before your tuition deadline.
Part-Time Student Loans
Part-time student loans use a separate three-step process. Funding can include repayable and non-repayable components depending on your situation.
- Download the part-time application from your provincial Student Assistance office. Save the application to your computer first, then close the form and re-open the version you saved before filling it out — if you don’t, it will upload as a blank application.
- Send the completed application (do not include your SIN) to ecampus.registrar@nscc.ca so the educational institution information can be completed.
- When the application is returned to you, complete the required information on pages 1 and 2 and send it back to your provincial Student Assistance office. Any questions about student loans should be directed to them.
